This is one very cool place to take young kids and anyone interested in paleontology.

The entire top floor is covered in fossils and displays depicting dinosaurs.

The bottom floor is designed as an interactive learning center and fun zone for kids.

I don’t know much about paleontology but my young son Q certainly recognized everything including the actual fossil he saw in a show about dinosaurs.

The museum is very kid friendly and upon leaving they gave everyone a gift shopping bag with baseball caps, fanny packs and postcards.

Technically in the city of Claremont the museum still falls under the original rules of the website because it is less than 45 minutes from downtown.

It is worth mentioning that the museum is closed from noon to 1 pm for lunch so plan accordingly.

The museum is free all day every Wednesday.
